Does the right reader immediately think, \u201cThis is talking about me\u201d?<\/p>\n

You can name a market correctly and still write copy that feels distant. \u201cFor coaches\u201d identifies a group. Compare that to: \u201cYou know that sinking feeling when Sunday hits and you still have nothing useful to send your list?\u201d<\/p>\n

There is no attempt to get inside the reader’s shoes here. This offer IS making sales, and I suspect that’s due to asymmetry (giant stack of stuff for a low price) putting it over the top. It might also be helped by a good list\/affiliate network as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cSave time with done-for-you content.\u201d<\/p>\n

That statement may be true, but it still feels generic.<\/p>\n

Stronger:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou promised yourself you\u2019d publish this week. Now it\u2019s Thursday night, the document is still blank, and you\u2019re digging through half-finished notes trying to stitch together something worth sending.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that’s an opening for your offer.<\/p>\n

People pay attention to copy that accurately describes their world.<\/p>\n

Specific recognition creates trust.<\/p>\n

The prospect thinks:<\/p>\n

\u201cThey understand this problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

That thought makes the next claim easier to believe.<\/p>\n
