Imagine watching 𝘈𝘯 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘞𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘰𝘭𝘧 𝘪𝘯 𝘓𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯 and seeing nothing but two hours of medical explanations about how a man turns into a wolf.

No terrifying consequences. No glimpse of what becoming a werewolf actually means. Just a clinical explanation of the process.

You’d feel cheated.

Yet marketers do something similar every day.

They talk about the process instead of showing customers what they’ll get from it.

Consider a typical online course offer:

12 modules. 40 video lessons. Downloadable worksheets. Weekly assignments. Private community access.

Where’s the transformation?

Suppose the course teaches market research. Show prospects what they’ll walk away with:

• A competitor map revealing gaps in their market.

• A collection of actual customer complaints and buying motivations.

• A list of overlooked selling angles competitors aren’t exploiting.

• A research brief they can use to develop their next promotion.

Now the prospect can picture owning something valuable. Better still, they can see themselves approaching their next promotion with a clearer understanding of the market, the buyers, and the opportunities worth pursuing.

This doesn’t mean hiding the work involved. The modules, assignments, and tools explain how customers will produce those results. They support the promise rather than replace it.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗮 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿:

Remove every reference to modules, lessons, hours, bonuses, and features.

What’s left?

If prospects cannot picture the new capabilities, opportunities, or results they’ll have after buying, you haven’t made the transformation clear.
